First Steps for Care Partner or PLWD – Zoom (June 6, 13, 20, 27)

This four week course of the First Link Learning Series provides an introduction to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and is intended for the care partners, family members and friends of individuals with dementia.
Facilitated by registered health professionals and utilizing expert guest speakers, topics covered include: types of dementia, changes in the brain, coping strategies, planning for the future, managing risks and community resources.
