Intergenerational Choir

An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Thursday, repeating until May 16, 2019
DESCRIPTION: For the person with dementia and their care partner. The Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex, in partnership with the Sisters of St. Joseph and the Medway High School music program, is pleased to offer the Intergenerational Choir Program. Led by Medway’s choral director, the music reaches out to clients to help bring back memories and socially engage and enliven them with contact with a younger generation. The Intergenerational Choir meets weekly (school activities will sometime impact that weekly schedule) to sing with a social time to mingle after each rehearsal. The session culminates with a concert for family and friends.
