When Susan Isaacs’ husband Howard was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at age 67, he became one of the 564,000 people currently living with dementia in Canada.

But like each of these men and women Howard is more than a number.

Once diagnosed, Susan and Howard connected right away to the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex (ASLM). By using every service available to them, they moved from sadness and fear to waking up each day ready for the challenges that lie ahead. As Susan puts it, “we still have a lot of living to do”. ASLM is here to ensure each of our 2,200 clients can live the best life possible no matter where they are in the dementia journey.

But we cannot do it without your help.

It only takes the power of one individual to make a difference in the lives of our family members, friends, neighbours and co-workers who are facing this devastating diagnosis. Will you be that one?

Please join us today in committing your gift to ASLM. While this disease is an uphill battle, you will be giving those living with dementia the chance to meet each challenge with compassion, strength and hope.
