Why I Walk

I walk for the thousands of clients living with dementia that the Alzheimer Society serves, along with their family care partners. The social isolation that we have all lived with this past year is something that families with dementia have always had to endure. No one living with dementia should go through this alone! I also walk in memory of my grandfather Dan (pictured above) who lived with Alzheimer’s and my grandmother, Arla, who gave so much to care for him at home for as long as possible.
