For the Care Partner

The Alzheimer Society features a model of care that provides hope, relief and support specifically geared towards those either living with or affected by dementia.

Alzheimer’s disease and the various other forms of dementia (Vascular dementia, Frontotemporal dementia, Lewy bodies etc) are far reaching, impacting not only the person diagnosed but also family and friends. It is non-discriminatory, affecting the population across all social positions and standards of living.

The Alzheimer Society’s dementia-care counselling and education programs are designed to provide hope and support for the person diagnosed along with their care partners, families and friends.

Our goal and vision is to be the guiding light for everyone impacted by dementia and to see them to live well with dementia.
